Belgium earned third place at World Cup with a 2-0 win over England…..
England were on top for most of the second half but with captain Harry Kane looking tired, Belgium’s greater sharpness in the final third proved decisive.
Belgium scored again in the 82nd minute to seal the game, another brilliant goal from midfielder Eden Hazard. Goals from Thomas Meunier and Eden Hazard were enough for Belgium to beat England and clinch third place in the World Cup.
