Reema Laghu, who played the role of mother in Bollywood movies, died in Mumbai due to a heart attack on Thursday morning.
Reema was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after the sudden illness last night. she was suffering from cardiac arrest and died early this morning. According to report Lagoo’s son-in-law Vinay Waikul, confirmed the news to Times of India and said, “She was complaining of chest pain so we took her to hospital around 1 am. She passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 am. She was perfectly fine and had no health issues…so it is really shocking for all us that she is no more with us.”
Hospital administration officer Ram Narayan has said that the medical report on the death of Reema was published after consultation with his family. Reema, who was healthy without any physical illness, suddenly died of a heart attack, shocked her family and Bollywood cinema.
Reema Lagoo’s last rites were held in Mumbai’s Oshiwara crematorium on Thursday afternoon. Her funeral was attended by several former colleagues she had worked with. Which includes Actor Aamir Khan with his wife Kiran Rao, Kajol, Rishi Kapoor, Tanvi Azmi, Sonali Kulkarni, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Rakesh Bedi and more.
She also starred as a mother in films including ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, ‘Meine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
Reema, who has won four Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actress, has been living with her people. Now, fans and Bollywood stars have condemned the demise of Rima.
