Vidya Balan’s ‘Begum Jaan’ saw a declines on Day 2 and collected Rs 3.50 Cr on Saturday after opening with Rs. 3.90 Cr on its First day. Making the total Box Office Collection of Begum Jaan to Rs. 7.44 Cr.

Vidya Balan’s much-awaited film Begum Jaan which was released this Friday. The remake of Srijit Mukherji’s Bengali film Rajkahini. Vidya Balan plays a titular role of a madam of a brothel who tries to protect the sex workers in the face of a looming crisis post India-Pakistan partition.
The film released on Good Friday, which was a holiday and was expected to benefit from the extended weekend, which is riding high on its powerful dialogues penned by Kausar Munir and Rahat Indori. But the film saw a decline on its second day which was not expected by anyone, It will depend on the sunday’s collection the fate of Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan which is going to face some tough competition from The Fate of the Furious that also released this week.
