First Day Collections of Naam Shabana is the 6th Highest of 2017 after Raees, Jolly LLb 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Kaabil and Rangoon. But it has dominated the opening records of last year released several actress oriented movies.
Naam Shabana is made on a budget of Rs 40 Crores all inclusive. And is looking for good weekend but still needs to collect a lot more to reach recovery mark.
According to IndiaToday.in Taapsee spoke about the reason behind the making of Naam Shabana “It was because of the love and attention my character got in Baby that made the the makers think that if she can get the attention in that kind of a short span, she probably deserves a full-fledged film telling her story… To have that kind of a girl among all these men being a spy brings in a lot of intrigue value, so the makers decided to trace her back-story.”
Naam Shabana has received mixed reviews, with critics praising the performances of Taapsee Pannu’s performance and Akshay Kumar, but finding that the film lacks the thrill and pace of Baby.
