Hollywood Is Dominating Bollywood At The Box Office | And Badrinath Ki Dulhania Continues Showing Its Magic.

This Friday released three new Hindi films Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero, But all the three films got very poor opening at the box office. And The Hollywood movie is dominating Bollywood releases that released along with it, And also performed far lower than last week released Varun-Alia starrer romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania which is not on its second week.

Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Machine which was expected to take at least an average start, unfortunately got failed to attract audience toward theaters. Also it has not received any favorable reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. On Saturday despite being weekend, Machine remained dull.

On the other hand, The legend of comedy Govinda’s comeback action comedy, Aa Gaya Hero has also received negative reviews from critics and got failed to attract audience, specially in multiplexes. 

Govinda’s comedy movie Aa Gaya Hero released this a dull response. People have an average buzz for the movie because of the lake of production and promotional work. Also, the story has lots of weak point on it which makes hard to connect with the movie.  The whole story plot revolves around An Ideal fearless cop becomes a nightmare for law breakers.

The third, Vikramaditya Motwane’s directorial Trapped received positive reviews from most of the critics, but isn’t able to attract much audience because of it’s genre. On the opening day, it recorded only 5% of occupancy and minted the amount of 0.30 Cr. But the performance of Rajkummar Rao is highly appreciated by the critics and audience. Due to positive response, it is expected to do well on the weekends.

From the Hollywood, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. Starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, the musical romantic fantasy had scored better figures than its Bollywood competitors, Machine, Aa Gaya Hero and Trapped.

With good reviews pouring in for Beauty and The Beast, the movie will surely pick up on the weekend, and will work with the family audiences especially in the multiplexes.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s film Badrinath Ki Dulhania has ended first week on a high note with a collection of Rs 73.66 Cr. Badrinath Ki Dulhania had become 2017’s highest Monday grosser with Rs 12.08 crore as BO collection. It has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees (Rs 8.25 crore), Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 (Rs 7.26 crore) and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil (Rs 6.04 crore).

Despite being on its second week, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is dominating the new release and its inching towards 100 Cr mark.

Three films released this week and all are not upto the mark and which are being avoided by the audience. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
